Manager Technical Sustainable Reporting

In 2014, BDO started providing services in the field of ESG reporting. In addition to auditing the ESG reporting, BDO FAAS (Financial Accounting Advisory Services) also has the ambition to develop an advisory offering, advising clients upon ESG reporting for the standards according the European Union and according the ISBS, with a focus on the Corporates & Financial Services industries. The service is young, but is growing fast and for this growth we are looking for a Manager Technical Sustainable Reporting.

In the role of (senior) Manager you will contribute to the development of BDO FAAS as a separate business line. This means an active contribution to the acquisition of assignments. Increasing brand awareness within and outside the BDO firm and performing consultancy engagements, where you are the client's point of contact. 

You are a builder, commercially minded and have an affinity for ESG reporting. You relish technical challenge and can make an active contribution to technical discussions. You can provide solutions to reporting questions, and also develop propositions as a result of future standards. It is important that you are flexible and that you are able to have a practical mindset. Finally, you like to organize your own time and, in addition to projects where you largely work independently, also implement projects in a team environment.

BDO FAAS is located in Amstelveen. This will be your office location, within BDO we offer hybrid working.

Your profile:

• You are a chartered accountant.
• You have at least 6-8 years of relevant experience at an accounting firm or in a similar role within Corporates or Financial Services.
• You have the drive to grow.
• You have an affinity with ESG reporting.
• You are able to work completely independently and to be active in a team environment.
